Location : Toa Payoh Swimming Complex
Date : 6-7 August 2016
One of the key objective of this shoot was to learn from Sports Photographer Dr Shaun Ho on the techniques of Sports photography. As this was the first time shooting from Ground Zero, it was rather exciting (most of the time in the past I shot from spectators stand). Testing on my 328mm lens and playing with CPL, it was fun to adjust the shots so as to avoid harsh reflection. Some shots were shot at its widest of 2.8 while others were at F4 (as advised by Dr Shaun describing how some organisers only want shots at F4 and everything at its sharpest). Also, turning the metering mode to Centre-Weighted instead of evaluative which I usually did.
